Upgrades

Upgrading an existing Linux distribution to another is an important part of system administration. No version of any distribution is supported forever so it does become necessary to perform a complete version upgrade.

This chapter covers information related to that process. Unfortunately many of the attempts at upgrade procedures were dismal failures as you can see from some of the articles in this section. It does seem that things have taken a turn for the better starting with upgrades from Fedora 22 to Fedora 23.
