Networking

Networks are a means to facilitate communications between two or more computers. A typical network allows computers to share files, printers, Internet connections and other resources.

The obvious benefits are saving money by sharing resources such as printers, and not having to copy everything onto a USB thumb drive and use sneakernet to get it to another computer. Or – worse yet – diskettes.

This section contains information I have gathered over the years about networking configuration and troubleshooting.

As with the other sections, this Networking section is not intended to be an all-inclusive tutorial, but rather a collection of articles about things I have encountered that may benefit others.
