One of the most commonly used Mail Transfer Agents is sendmail. Sendmail has been around since nearly the beginning of the Internet. This section covers sendmail usage and configuration issues for administrators. It is most definitely not intended to be a complete description of how to configure and use sendmail; there are many good and complete books for that.
